#2314 Saving edited file freezes Webmin

In the versions over the last year or so, I've experienced the
edit window in the file manager freezing the browser when
trying to save the edited file.

I have tried on various computers using various browser
and it appears to happen anytime a file is of a decent size.
I am running the latest version of Webmin from 10/18/05
and am trying to edit a 35KB php file. It works until I
attempt to save it, then it freezes and eventually unfreezes
but the save doesn't get committed.

Do you get any error messages in the Java Console window of
your browser?

the java console window is completely blank, nothing shows
at all

I have the same problem. I was hoping it would be fixed in
the new release. It appears the bug is in the latest
release as well. There are no errors in java or in the
browser. It simply locks up and I have to kill the browser
processes in order to get them closed.

the problem is still alive.
My filemanager freezes very often...
