#2297 automatic samba to unix password sync not working

Hi, thanks for such a great program!

My problem is that I am trying to set up the automatic
user password to samba password sync and it doesn't
work. I have set this up many times in the past with no
problems...Previous installs were using smbpasswd,
and the new one uses tdb.

Other details:
Redhat Enterprise 4 es
samba version: 3.0.30b-24.i386 which I got from
http://www.enterprisesamba.org

Webmin version: latest as of oct 23/2005 webmin-1.240-
1.noarch.rpm

Any ideas or additional info I should post? How do I
troubleshoot this?

Can you change the password for a user OK with the smbpasswd
command at the shell prompt? That is what Webmin calls ..
