Hangs on Users/Groups...Create a new user...Create
It Adds user fine but only returns to the Users/Groups
List window when i click "Return to users and groups
List" otherwise it hangs indefinately on version 1.240

I have exactly the same problem, but this problem is also in
the "change password" module. If the "...in other modules"
option not selected, then works the module.

Try disabling user synchronization in other modules, such as :
Samba
Disk Quotas
MySQL
PostgreSQL
Read User Mail
or any others that you have enabled it in..
