Upgrade from webmin packages residing on Solaris 10,
3/05 successful, but configuration paths to modules all
wrong. Also, could not delete original webmin directory
and still have webmin run.

If my memory serves me well, the version number
originally presented after logging into webmin was 1.71.
Upgraded to v1.230.
In the upgrade directory:
#more /usr/sfw/lib/webmin-1.230/usermin/config
usermin_dir=/etc/usermin
update=0
upmissing=0
upshow=1
updays=1
uphour=4
cron_mode=0
In the original webmin directory:
#more /usr/sfw/lib/webmin/usermin/config
usermin_dir=/etc/usermin
#cd /etc/usermin
/etc/usermin: No such file or directory
Found the configuration directory here:
#more /etc/webmin/usermin/config
cron_mode=0
uphour=4
updays=1
upshow=1
upmissing=0
usermin_dir=/usr/sfw/lib/webmin-1.230/usermin
update=0
Tared up, then deleted original webmin directory, and
1.230 would not run.
Untared original directory, then cleared maintenance
status and re-enabled webmin. Worked fine.
Looks like I need to move some files and/or change
some paths, one way or the other.
Don't know if you would consider this a bug, but it sure
doesn't look right. Would like guidance on how to
undiscombobulate the upgrade.
Thanks ... Jim

Were you upgrading from the package of Webmin that comes
with Solaris 10 (created by Sun) to a version from
www.webmin.com ? If so, this is not really supported .. you
need to upgrade to Sun's package instead, which is different
from the one I create.
