#2221 Debian Sarge 3.1a with kernel 2.4 not recognized

Whem instaling Debian Sarge3.1a from scratch with
kernel 2.4, and then install Shorewall 1.22 from site
um GZ format does not recognize de dist. .
It informs that is "generic 2.4" and the great
majority of modules does not work .
I have a try changing by hand the dist, but is still
not work .
The only way is change the module configuration
individualy by hand a MASSIVE amount o job !
But if youinstall in a sistem that hass been upgraded
from any previus version os Debian to 3.1 the detection
works fine !!
I can not test with Kernel 2.6 because the sistem in
question does not boot From official set os CDs from
Debian with Kernel 2.6, with any option ...

This looks like a bug in Webmin..
What does the /etc/issue file contain on your system? Webmin
uses this file to identify the Debian version ..
