on Win XP Prof, ie6 or Netscape 7.1 webmin 1.04
ssh/telnet will not open session, indicates that no server
running, although on server RH ES, servers are running
and can be connected to by normal clients with no
problem.
The module may be trying to connect using SSH when you are only running
a telnet server or vice-versa. Try clicking on Module Config and changing th
Connection type setting.

Not True, I guess I wasn't clear. sorry. on the server both ssh
and telnet daemons ar running and can be connected to by
the machine I am working off of with no problems.

Most likely the module's code for testing if telnet or SSH is active is failing,
perhaps because of a firewall. You can turn it off by clicking on Module
Config and setting the 'Test telnet or SSH server?' otion to No.

at first it hangs , while it it trying to negotiate. then I get:
