Hi Aulis, what version are you using? The installer has been re-written for the imminent v5 and you can download the latest code from here - https://github.com/timschofield/webERP/archive/refs/heads/master.zip BTW, most discussion about the project these days takes place on GitHub - https://github.com/timschofield/webERP/discussions Many thanks for your interest, Tim On Sat, 22 Feb 2025 at 13:12, <aul...@sc...> wrote: > > im trying install weberp demo and im getting error messages > > im use wamp in win 11 environment, > > > > ------------------- > > [22-Feb-2025 10:45:19 UTC] PHP Stack trace: > > [22-Feb-2025 10:45:19 UTC] PHP 1. {main}() C:\wamp64\www\index.php:0 > > [22-Feb-2025 10:45:19 UTC] PHP 2. require() C:\wamp64\www\index.php:13 > > [22-Feb-2025 10:55:23 UTC] PHP Deprecated: Optional parameter $NewSQL declared before required parameter $DBType is implicitly treated as a required parameter in C:\wamp64\www\webERP\install\index.php on line 1123 > > [22-Feb-2025 10:55:23 UTC] PHP Deprecated: Optional parameter $Demo declared before required parameter $DBType is implicitly treated as a required parameter in C:\wamp64\www\webERP\install\index.php on line 1123 > > [22-Feb-2025 11:00:55 UTC] PHP Fatal error: Uncaught mysqli_sql_exception: You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'SET FOREIGN_KEY_CHECKS = 0' at line 1 in C:\wamp64\www\webERP\install\index.php:1238 > > Stack trace: > > #0 C:\wamp64\www\webERP\install\index.php(1238): mysqli_query(Object(mysqli), ' SET names UTF8...') > > #1 C:\wamp64\www\webERP\install\index.php(1131): PopulateSQLDataBySQL('../sql/mysql/co...', Object(mysqli), 'mysqli', 'weberp', false) > > #2 C:\wamp64\www\webERP\install\index.php(449): PopulateSQLData('../sql/mysql/co...', false, Object(mysqli), 'mysqli', 'weberp') > > #3 {main} > > thrown in C:\wamp64\www\webERP\install\index.php on line 1238 > > > > > > Aulis Lappalainen > > aul...@dl... > > (aul...@sc...) > > 050 5319427 > > > > _______________________________________________ > web-ERP-users mailing list > web...@li... > https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/web-erp-users -- www.weberp.org @TimSchofield2 Blog: https://kwamoja.home.blog/ |

This is a friendly reminder to complete the webERP Report Builder survey, as the survey will close in just three days. Your feedback is incredibly valuable to us, and we need as many responses as possible. If you haven't already, please take a few minutes to complete the survey. Open the survey - https://bit.ly/weberp-survey-1 -----Original Message----- From: Andrew Couling Sent: 09 December 2024 22:56 To: web...@li...; web...@li... Subject: webERP - Report Builder Survey The webERP development team is reviewing the Report Builder feature, and would like to understand to what degree it is utilized across the user community. To inform a decision about the future of Report Builder, we invite all webERP users and administrators to complete the survey at the link below. *Report Builder is a browser-based tool that gathers the necessary webERP database information to generate company reports. Attributes such as page setup, fields retrieved, and filter criteria are entered to provide the specific information desired. Reports are generated with a standardized output but still have configurable columns and options to allow for flexibility. Every report created with this tool can be customized and formatted by the users to create custom reports.* Open the survey <https://bit.ly/weberp-survey-1> Thank you. https://www.weberp.org <http://www.avg.com/email-signature?utm_medium=email&utm_source=link&utm_cam paign=sig-email&utm_content=webmail> Virus-free.www.avg.com <http://www.avg.com/email-signature?utm_medium=email&utm_source=link&utm_cam paign=sig-email&utm_content=webmail> <#DAB4FAD8-2DD7-40BB-A1B8-4E2AA1F9FDF2> _______________________________________________ Web-erp-developers mailing list Web...@li... https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/web-erp-developers -- This email has been checked for viruses by AVG antivirus software. www.avg.com |

Dear all, as promised I have rewritten the installer. This now works much quicker than previous versions, hopefully resolving the timeout issues. I have merged it into the github repository. The interface could do with a bit more work, but it _seems_ to work well for me. I have written something about it in the wiki [1] It works fine on the 3 different systems I have here, but one of the reasons writing an installer is hard, is that there are so many different server configurations that are possible, so it would be great if people can test it on their systems and report back any issues. Thanks Tim [1] https://github.com/timschofield/webERP/wiki/Installer -- www.weberp.org |

Do I need the installer? I'm a) using an existing database and b) will copy config.distrib.php to config.php and edit appropriately. ----- Original Message ----- > From: "Tim Schofield" <tim...@gm...> > To: "For the general discussion of webERP project" <web...@li...> > Cc: "webERP Developers" <web...@li...> > Sent: Thursday, October 24, 2024 2:09:04 PM > Subject: Re: [webERP-users] [WebERP-developers] Project status > Thanks Dale, sorry for the delay with the installer. Thanks Dale, sorry for the delay with the installer. I have been surprised by the great response to my initial message, and have had several contributions sent to me which have occupied me. It is nearly there now - I have just installed and logged in OK, so it's very nearly there. Hi Tim, I'm a little more pragmatic - use what works - and this is what works. I found a backup of tutorial database that was dumped from a working system 2018-10-01. I will clone your repo head to the server, and see what breaks when I login (hopefully I have written down my old password somewhere....) Fwiw, my (current) app stack is PHP 8.1.29, Apache 2.4.62 and MariaDb 10.6.18. I'll update probably in a few days...
