*Hi, Terry,* Thank you for your report! It's a bug due to an extra blank space. I've fixed in the trunk. You can download the file attached. Thanks and best regards! Hi Phil and All, I can't search phone numbers in the customer menu because I get this error every time "please match the requested format" which I think is a PHP error as I can't find that error text in /webERP/SelectCustomer.php. Hi Phil and All, Anyone interested in a Schemaspy webage generated from the WebERP 4.12.3 Demo database can find it on my advert/junk free website at :- http://www.portertech.org/test/webERP/schemaspy/webERP-4.12.3/weberp-4.12.3-weberpdemo/index.html It may prove helpful when searching for table column names e.t.c. to use in your own SQL applications which obtain data directly from your webERP database. My old tutorial on how to generate this information is at :- http://portertech.org/bb/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=34&sid=6fb1a7a97711732948f40c250812747d Any of my articles may be freely linked for purposes of increasing webERP knowledge among webERP users. *Hi,Tyler:* Just create a special token in Maintain Security Token and assign this token to the role in Access permission maintenance . And then assign that role to the scripts in page security settings, and at the last step, assign the users to the role you set at the first step. Best regards! Hi. I have just set up WebERP on a new site of mine. An apache sever running off Ubuntu Server 14 LTS. We really just need to use the Inventory side of the program. When we use Inventory Bulk Dispatch all is ok. But when we Inventory Bulk - Receive we get this error: Database Error 1452 : CRITICAL ERROR! *Hi, Phil,* The script is WorkOrderIssue.php which only allow 'F' , 'D' and 'L' which is added later. And another script is WorkOrderEntry.ph which allows 'F' and 'M'. It maybe forget to update as labor and other other overhead cost is allowed to issue to Work Orders. Thanks and best regards! *Hi, Phil,* Thank you for your long time nice support! When I studied the Work Order Issue code, it currently only allows 'F' and 'D' to issue. Is it designed or an overlook? I think here should allow Labor, and raw material issued too which are no in the BOM. Thanks and best regards! Well I am not sure about this... the contract is not a customer, it is effectively a container of costs - like a work order except there is no static BOM Issuing the stock to the contract is possible - but to produce a stock issue note that is charged to the contract but headed up for dispatch to the customer is not currently supported nor even envisaged by my simple mind! I can certainly see why you would do this though now - but I expect it is not generally the way most companies work. If you issue stock to the contract then this accomplished by issuing to the contract work order. There would be no charge or invoice for such issues. You may be referring to a contracted price? This is not what the contract module is about. Phil On 2015-11-04 07:18, rfthomas wrote: > Phil, > > We would assume that shipments of items done under a contract would be > charged to the contract. Phil, We would assume that shipments of items done under a contract would be charged to the contract. In this case the contract is a special type of customer, the shipping location and customer on the paperwork would default to the customer of the contract (over-ridden if the shipments go to an intermediary, i.e. an integrator who integrates the shipment into the end product of the contract). The prices specific to the end-user would be charged to the contract with an automatic payment by the contract. There could be for the contract a complete list of items with other items being added as necessary. We would create orders in the system that use the contract as customer, placing the items to be shipped on an order. When the items ship (invoice is created), shipping papers would be generated to accompany the shipment and inventory would adjusted. The value of the shipment would be the customer's price. Such would be charged against the contract. The relationship of contracts to customer is many to one. We can have several active contracts/projects with the same customer/branch. Bob, So these invoices/packing lists would actually be zero charges with the cost of the items on the invoice being issued to the contract? I hadn't considered that case.... I am thinking that a special contract invoice should be possible to write a whole lot of text and the invoice has no inventory item against it - this creates all sorts of trouble as there is no stock movement and all the printing requires a stock movement - not sure how to achieve it yet. The sales analysis would also be messed up as the invoice would not be classed as turnover (under a % completion scenario). Hi Bob Thomas, Thank you. Excelente! We work with EGroupware/Project Management, but we are trying with dotProject between EGroupware and webERP (using Joomla!). Rafael, We use MICROSOFT Project as a project planning and management tool. We have experimented with DOTPROJECT available at http://sourceforge.net/projects/dotproject/ Bob Thomas -- View this message in context: http://weberp-accounting.1478800.n4.nabble.com/Contracts-Module-tp4658378p4658390.html Sent from the web-ERP-users mailing list archive at Nabble.com. |

Hi Bob Thomas, Which software are you using for project management? We are experiencing webERP use to bill/quotation by project activities.
