Hi, to all webERP developers I'm using the Z_ImportFixedAssets.php script which also contain the cost for an assets to import my existing assets, when the .csv file imported successfully I can see all my assets through Asset Manager module, then I run the Depreciation Journal. When I go to Balance Sheet, I can see depreciation report there, but I can't see the cost of the asset in my assets lists. Is the Z_ImportFixedAssets.php only import assets in asset manager and not to General Ledger? For the record, I already set up the Fixed Asset Category Maintenance and Fixed Asset Locations properly, do the Re-Post all GL transactions from a specified period too, but no luck. Please explain the Z_ImportFixedAssets.php process and let me know where I get it wrong? The import of fixed assets just imports to the fixed assets module and you need to do a manual gl journal to get the cost and accumulated depreciation into the general ledger. From there on depreciation and additions and disposals are all integrated to GL. *Hi, Tim :* >From what I know, the assets I've imported only register it's value to GL transaction after I run the Depreciation Journal from Asset Manager module, which is depreciation report on Balance Sheet, but the cost of the assets is not in General Ledger, it should be in different GL Account isn't it? *Hi, Phil :* So, after I import the assets then I need to do a manual gl journal to get the cost into the GL? Hi Ade, Yes - you need to just run off the fixed asset register and ensure that you post the cost and accumulated depreciation values that you imported into the fixed assets module as a manual journal to the general ledger. No general ledger journal is created by the importation process.
