To all webERP Developers I have a question about Daily Sales Inquiry (DailySalesInquiry.php) and Sales Order Detail Or Summary Inquiries (SalesInquiry.php) results. For example, if I run the Daily Sales Inquiry for one salesperson in August 2013, the result was different if I run from the Sales Order Detail Or Summary Inquiries for the same salesperson and same Month. We have all of our sales transactions recorded in webERP and another system just for backups, and when we compare the report from webERP and our system, the closest numbers is from the Daily Sales Inquiry, but we need the detail report from the Sales Order Detail Or Summary Inquiries. So my question is: 1. Why is the results from Daily Sales Inquiry And Sales Order Detail Or Summary Inquiries is different? What makes it different? 2. In Sales Order Detail Or Summary Inquiries there is Extended Cost and Extended Price columns, what is Extended word mean? Thanks. Sales orders may not all be invoiced so very likely to be a difference. Thanks. I'm sorry that is one more thing I want to ask, You say that Sales orders may not all be invoiced, is that the DailySalesInquiry.php report? if that's true, is the SalesInquiry.php report is including the sales order that not be invoiced yet too? or only report the invoice? Thank You. Hi Ade, The sales order reports report on sales orders and the daily sales inquiry reports on invoices net of credit notes. The sales order reports take no account of what is invoiced. Extended means that it is showing the total of the quantity multiplied by the price. Hi Phil, Thank's for your reply and sorry for my late answer. Now I understand the difference between daily sales and sales order inquiries, according to your explaination I have to use the daily sales inquiry to achieve the sales amount for each salesman. But I want to view the daily sales inquiry with the list of salesman, just like if I select the sales order inquiry with "Report Type: Summary" and "Summary Type: Salesman", then it will generate the report contains all the salesman list with their sales amount. How could I achieve this, but with the daily sales inquiries report? Should I add another option in sales order inquiry in "Order Type:" or elsewhere? or should I modify the daily sales inquiry to add that kind of functionalities? Please give me advice and workarounds on this, Thank's. ----- Baliboss Bali Open Source Solution www.baliboss.com -- View this message in context: http://weberp-accounting.1478800.n4.nabble.com/Daily-Sales-Inquiry-and-Sales-Order-Detail-Or-Summary-Inquiries-Results-tp4657028p4657083.html Sent from the web-ERP-developers mailing list archive at Nabble.com. |

For period by period reporting you can use the sales analysis reporting to create reports just the way you would like them. The daily sales inquiry also has a facility to select sales person http://www.weberp.org/weberp/DailySalesInquiry.php -- Phil Daintree +64(0)275 567890 Skype: daintree baliboss <it...@ba...> wrote: >Hi Phil, > >Thank's for your reply and sorry for my late answer. >Now I understand the difference between daily sales and sales order >inquiries, according to your explaination I have to use the daily sales >inquiry to achieve the sales amount for each salesman. >But I want to view the daily sales inquiry with the list of salesman, >just >like if I select the sales order inquiry with "Report Type: Summary" >and >"Summary Type: Salesman", then it will generate the report contains all >the >salesman list with their sales amount.
