*Dear all:*
The webERP new installer provide a option to install different
country's sql file.
I've just committed the Chinese sql file to the trunk which is
suitable for Chinese mainland.
If you have your country's sql file, please commit it to the
trunk. Then more users will benefit from this.

Except for the demo sql all the charts of account should be minimalist. That is just enough to get webERP up and running. Every company I have worked at, as accountant CFO or consultant has had a radically different chart of account and I think to try and force a "generalised" one is just going to put people off. I know some countries do have a standard chart, but in my experience most do not. I would never have considered using a system that enforced its CoA on me. Even in China, each accountant may modify the COA according to
business requirements. But the original one is far from the COA from
government, that's one of the main reason to put potential users off.
And more over, there are some data in the sql are English. So
the country specific sql will lead to a thorough localization.

Hi Exson, I think you misunderstood, maybe I didn't explain very well. What I meant was the CoA that the installer uses, whether it be English, Chinese, or Swahili should only be the minimum required to get webERP started and then the accountant can add in the accounts they require for their organisation. not needed can leave it as it. So a fully one is better since there is no
minimal one.
You brought out a great idea that we should provide a good demo.

Well most people would have to delete the old ones and then create the newies, so that is more work. Seems silly to me, but I always just remove the CoA and use the clients existing one anyway so if you want to do it this way thats fine by me.
