*Dear all:* I noticed that there are German, France, Italian item description list on the stock screen. I'm wondering if there are more items listed there. Is it suitable to list those items there which may occupy third or half screen of those stuff? And most of time, users will not use it. It quite confused IMHO. Best regards! well, this is configurable. you can choose which languages you wish to maintain from the setup. The translated description shows on customer invoices, dependent on the customer language setting. also shows in my webSHOP -- Phil Phil Daintree +64 (0)275 567890 GMT+12 http://www.logicworks.co.nz ExsonQu <hex...@gm...> wrote: >*Dear all:* > > I noticed that there are German, France, Italian item description >list on the stock screen. *Hi,Phil,* Thank you for your reply. I think the default value should be none. Otherwise, it'll quite bizarre. Best regards! You might be right Exson - I just set it so folks could see that multiple language descriptions were now an option. Although, in some respects by showing a couple of other languages this might prompt users to think - that's weird ... would be great if we could have Chinese their instead of french and Italian!! Then if you wished to have entirely Chinese invoices produced just change the customer's language to Chinese and the whole invoice interface and descriptions all change to Chinese.... I think this functionality is really quite a big one for many in the EU. I know of at least one business who is hanging out for this. *Hi, Phil:* You're absolutely right! It's a GREAT feature. The question here is how to make it clear to target customer and not confuse who do not use it. Maybe some help-text on the Stocks.php interface make it more clear? Thanks and best regards!
