Good luck, Floyd. Our system is easy to setup on a server or you can = use the demo to try out the functionality. This will help compare it = with what you need. If you have any further questions the online = manual, text files contained in the distribution and various information = on the website including the system information documents are great = sources. Beyond that we can try to answer questions... Several companies use webERP so it is functional. The question is = whether it provides the functionality you need. Companies often find = they need to customize a system for their exact business whether it is = J.D. Edwards or webERP. If it doesn't cover all the functionality then = it becomes a question of how much is missing and how much work it would = be to get it in there. If they are switching from a proprietary system then they will be saving = on product, licensing, etc. ongoing so it may not be much to do some = work to get it there. Client has decided to shift out of JD Edwards for cost-avoidance=3D20 reasons. My angle is really how much of their present use of JD can = be=3D20=3D ported to WebERP, or if there is a better open-source ERP package = out=3D20 there.... will see what happens. Floyd Piedad |
