  Just for reference, the new interface includes the following:

  1) A new look

  2) The new online help system with all info sectioned out from the new =
htnl manual in it

  3) A new user preferences section

  4) Hot keys

  5) Paging settable by each user

  Granted the paging and hot keys are not put into every part of the =
system yet because I am concentrating on a couple of other priorities =
including the Multilanguage pages.=20

  The new interface is now on the demo.  Sure there may be further =
refinements or another new interface in the future but this is the one =
that's done and in the system at this point.

    The new interface being shown around before would definitely be a =
great way of 'showing' that changes, but it hasn't seemed like that's =
gone anywhere recently.
    It may also be prudent to give the website it's touch up before =
releasing an new version.
    And before it is actually released, it would be great if several =
people could do some general sanity testing to make sure things are =
working as they are supposed to be.

    Also, isn't this techinically 0.2.9 ?

      I was thinking it would be 2.10 but this in decimal is less than =
2.9 - I think major versions are for dramatic changes and turning =
points. Version 2 came out when I had the system working in a live =
environment. There is probably marketing qdos in going to 3.

      Jesse is finalising the StockTransfers code - we're only half way =
(well nearly) through the gettextification. Perhaps 3 should be when we =
have multi-language possibilities.
