Hi Federico, I cannot simulate this problem. I got this message: Warning: session_start() [function.session-start]: open(/tmp\sess_467e0da7dc4b471479be32ea0acf8cda, O_RDWR) failed: No such file or directory (2) in c:\program files\apache group\apache\htdocs\web-erp\header.inc on line 6 when I removed the file php.ini from the C:\windows directory altogether. All I had to do to fix it is to copy the file php.ini-dist to C:\Windows\php.ini and modified the line ;extension=php_pdf.dll to extension=php_pdf.dll to ensure that the pdf creation functionality in php was enabled. Many of the reports depend upon this. Also, I changed the line that read: session.save_path = /tmp to session.save_path = C:\Temp and I created the directory C:\Temp other than that the whole php.ini-dist file was unchanged. Then I restarted apache from the Services in the control panel. I tried to get it to repeat your problem with register_globals on and off but as expected it works either way. Security-wise it is best to leave the default setting to off. I am sorry I cannot get my system to duplicate your problem. Have you compared your php.ini file to the default php.ini-dist file - in particular the variables surrounding the use of sessions?
