It is similar to the switch idea I had but on every transaction/request, I think, so offers more flexibility to the user. With this script, I was trying to determine what the functioning of this existing webERP script was, its objective and if it is finished as intended. Then, I could better determine what is/isn't available to me in webERP for this specific task I have to implement. I've had a lot of feedback now which has been very helpful. I will do some more detailed investigation now. Once I make the changes/additions I will provide them for review so it can be decided if it is useful or not to general webERP, or I keep it in the custom client branch which may be the case.
