[WebERP-developers] Regular expressions

In the work to make webERP use some of the html5 goodies I  have used a 
pattern="[a-zA-Z0-9\s]*" - but of course this is a blinkered 
Englishman's view of the world that prevents valid entries in other 
languages character sets ... of course I need to update this to 
something more inclusive!!

I would appreciate some technical input from the clever ones amongst you 
please. Maybe we are best just excluding  the characters
