The warehouses here are your own warehouses where the goods would be brought into and that would be used to deliver from. As it never comes to your warehouse, then I would just create a dummy warehouse as you suggest. ****** The workflow is a little confusing. I looked at some Oracle explanations, they called this type of transaction "Drop Shipment", I don't know if that makes any difference. I created a dummy warehoue in the US, and then one at the customers location. I never receive any physical stock at my location. I think I have to go through the following steps; 1) Enter customer's order with delivery from the dummy US warehouse 2) Create an internal purchase order with delivery to dummy US warehouse (adds stock) 3) Create a purchase order with delivery to customer's dummy warehouse that takes stock from dummy US warehouse. 4) Issue an customer invoice 5) Enter suppliers invoice 6) Enter internal suppliers invoice (to clear transaction #2) Is there a simpler way to do this? Is my logic correct? -- View this message in context: http://weberp-accounting.1478800.n4.nabble.com/back-to-back-orders-tp4445043p4465196.html Sent from the web-ERP-users mailing list archive at Nabble.com. |
