I can choose to have a single treadle (which I think just means a single weft thread) but I still have to select it. Shouldn't that be automatic? There's a choice of one.

Although, now I try one, I don't think it makes any sense to allow only one treadle. It disnae work, as we say in Scotland.

One treadle doesn't make sense, you need at least two shafts with a treadle each to make a weave. So it really should not be allowing you to create a draft with less than 2 of anything.
