Winamp Control Center / News: Recent posts

A lot of bugs appeared when the Winamp API changed, so the WCC code has been updated and fixes a lot of bugs that were submitted over the last year (when development was dead). Get it from http://www.wcc.cx/

The WindowsNT/2000 bug has finally been addressed for the last time in this new release. Check the readme.txt for instructions on how to get Winamp Control Center to work under NT-based platforms. Old cruft has been removed from previous versions and the source is cleaner now.

The Winamp Control Center has a very bad bug in it where the Visual Basic Windows API call FindWindow() doesn't find the Winamp window under WindowsNT. If anyone could figure this one out and submit a patch that would be awesome, thanks!

I just finished setting up WinCVS and SSH on my computer and I uploaded all of the source to the CVS repository. I'll put up a tutorial on the wcc website soon on how to set this up in Windows. I also uploaded the WCC website, I'm going to add a bunch of cool PHP stuff when I get some time.

I just moved the Winamp Control Center over to sourceforge, I'm working on moving the website over too. As soon as I finish the website, I will make a new post and change the Winamp link to point to it. Also hopefully I will be getting my own domain name for the project. If anyone has experience in Visual Basic 5.0 and CGI, you can become a developer on the project too. I'll upload it to CVS here soon.
