It is worth noting that the standard network tool Wireshark (formerly Ethereal), directly supports the decode and display of most versions of SyncML (Support for 2.0 is available from http://dchampagne.com/files/packet-wbxml.c and http://dchampagne.com/files/Wireshark/, but has not yet been integrated)
