What would be best is to put in common the core files from the win32_version/ and wxWasteagain/
and someone with time to improve a bit the GUI of the wx version...

spoo: Thx! And that would be the best yes. I tried my hand with wxWidgets and felt nice overall, but the wxwidgets WASTE gui is so fuckin' mixed up with old gui code and shit that only the guy who wrote it could make any sense out of it.

What do you think of merging the core code (common to gui and non-gui) of linux and win32 version ?
I propose myself to do this, so improvements in protocol handling and performances will be common to both versions.
wxGUI will come later if I have time / capabilities to do this.
If you agree, I need to know what compiler is used to compile wasteagain_win32/ (I tried Visualc++express2008 but the project file needs to be converted...?)

There is no linux version really, I could only work on the win32, someone tried to shape up the wx version but nothing came of it.
