No

Waste does not allow me to send messages anymore when running it from Wine on any linux distribution.

I have attached a screenshot. A workaround in the next verison would be to add a send button.

To help someone else confirm, someone may wish to replicate these steps:
1.) Run a live linux distribution (such as Ubuntu from Ubuntu.com)
2.) Install wine from winehq.org (latest .rpm or .deb)
3.) Install the latest version of WasteAgain from here on Sourceforge
4.) Run, as normal or root user, wine waste.exe in the folder with waste.exe
5.) Try to chat with another user, either through normal or encrypted chat feature

What I want to clarify is when you hit enter the message does no get's send instead it makes a newline? Or WASTE accepts the message but it doesn't gets sent?

By the way the funny thing is the chat window has a send button it's just hidden by the input line.

When I hit enter the messages does not get sent. Pressing enter only creates a return carriage or newline. If someone sends me a message, I am unable to reply for this same reason. I can send the person a file, such as !!!readme.txt, which they can get successfully.

I see, I still wish someone who uses WASTE with WINE could confirm this bug, because if it only affects you than you know... Let's see this clearly! With older versions you can send? Like the original 1.5?

Confirmed. I installed using Crossover Professional 8.0, installed Waste from both WasteAgain and 1.5b4; both versions have this same problem.
