In my experience I've noticed that my extra slashes are added when inserting into MySQL. So during my loop through the data with $oVar->next(); I add the call there: $arVar[$oVar->getId()] = $oVar->toArray(); $arVar[$oVar->getId()]['TextAreaValue'] = stripslashes($arVar[$oVar->getId()]['TextAreaValue']); HTH. -J.
