Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard edition
WAMP Server 2.4 (64bit)
We have a fully qualified domain name xxx.company.com and an alias short name
the site started not responding to the FQDN just sitting and waiting so we thought it was a DNS issue but that was checked out and not the issue. Then the site started not even responding locally on the server but WAMP shows online and working, the server pings. DNS checks out.
A restart of services on WAMP resolves the issue each time, but it always comes back.
We even made sure the anti-virus has exclusions for the WAMP folder and subfolders, that it ignores the website url for scanning.
