Though Admin members https://sourceforge.net/p/w3m/_members/ should have the permission, the site http://w3m.sourceforge.net seems inactive, Last-Modified: 2008.

About w3m on sourceforge.net, ask the project members https://sourceforge.net/p/w3m/wiki/Home/. I don't have permission to update w3m on sourceforge.net. I can't even close the tickets.

Hi, I use w3m (w3mimgdisplay) with ranger file manager. I can view all types of images except tiff images. When I open tiff images on the console with the w3m command, many characters are displayed on the screen (attach). How to fix this error? I use Archlinux-5.8.3-arch1-1 and w3m version 0.5.3+git20200507, options lang=en,m17n,image,color,ansi-color,mouse,gpm,menu,cookie,ssl,ssl-verify,external-uri-loader,nntp,ipv6,alarm,mark.

Hi altogether, I use the w3m-browser on a regular basis and am really satisfied with it. There´s just on thing I cannot work out. Using a TTS (Text-to-speech) script I wrote for having the text read out to me (whenever I´m too lazy for reading......) I need to copy the output of the (whole) page to my clipboard. By typing "m" the mouse-pointer turns into "selection" and I can copy the marked text. But: Generally the output of a page is larger than a single "page" of the terminal. So I´m forced to...

I have changed my nested elements to be instead of (since it looks nicer in lynx and w3m anyway) but this is probably something that should be fixed in order to maintain compatibility with the latest web standards. This text should have read: I have changed my nested elements to be <span> instead of <div> but apparently sourceforge doesn't sanitize their HTML and also doesn't provide a means of editing a ticket description. Oops.

If you have a hint on how to make w3m-img work again, TY. I am running whichever terminal-application you want to recommend on Debian Gnu/Linux Buster/Sid. For the time, there are no images displayed in xterm, rxvt-anything, lxterminal, roxterm.., what else. uxterm. w3m is configured to show inline-images and to not use an external viewer.., like in those times, when w3m-img worked alright for me. TIA

Good morning. I am running w3m/0.5.3+git20170102 on Debian Gnu/Linux buster/sid. As the last official update is noted as of april 2013, the project could just as well be called dead, by now. But there appears to be a git-resource for w3m and I had not been aware of that prior running w3m -version. As the last contribution on github is noted as of 2011-01-17, I guess that the the code referenced by git20170102 has been copied from the w3m-el project and probably only for the Debian version of w3m....
