In order to reduce the amount of SPAM, the lists admins have decided to vet
all non-member mailings.
With 3 vetters spanning 2 continents, the delay to non-member's posts should
not be too great. Non-members will not receive emails indicating their
submissions are being held for scrutiny, so hopefully, we will not scare
As with all pattern recognition machines, we are not perfect, so we may let
though a few SPAM messages, and accidentally block a few valid emails. Such
senders are unlikely to be notified, since we do not reply to spammers
telling them that our list is available. So if you come across a colleague
who complains that we didn't reply to their list email, please ask them to
send it again.
