Updated to compile with the latest SPL.

Linux console fixes: Tab and backspace now work. Arrow keys no longer cause the local term to go into extended character mode.

Linux console is now somewhat workable.

This release does not run on unix nor OSS, however the vc++ 6 build is functional. The spl library, available on sourceforge, is required to compile the sources.
