If there is leading and trailing space in JD values in the new star from database dialog fields, VStar brings up an error dialog! I thought I had fixed all such occurrences of this. Check all other dialogs that take numeric data.
This has been fixed some time ago. All dialogs with text fields from which input can be obtained are trimmed. We *could* also do this with the bin settings spinner/text field in the mean and obs plot pane, but that control is self correcting in that regards.
I checked this by dumping spaces before and after JD dates in the new star selector, the raw plot box, and the bin settings box. All of which handled the bunk data very gracefully.
I'd say you can close this.

Done. Thanks.
