You may find this interesting, to get this to work put
the jawin
or jawind dll in your windows system folder. I have
modified one of the methods in the IVSSDatabase file as
the generated stub had incorrect parameters, appart
from that
I have tested it using the test class and it seems to
work perfectly. On large projects the shell system is
really starting to show the strain.

I am going to start to look at modifying some of your
command files if I can get some time.

Hope this is of use to you .

Best Regards

Thanks, don't put too much work in it. I have a working full
beta implementation of the plugin using the VSS OLE
automation API via jawin. It looks very promising. I've planned
to release a first beta of it in a week or two.

If you'd like I can send you a copy of the latest build and you
could do some initial beta testing.

Is that in cvs ? If not could you mail the stuff to me ... I
    want to
get everyone here using eclipse but im moving job in 2 weeks
time. When I get to new job I will only be using cvs & Linux so
no more screwing arround with com for me.

My mail is b.hunt at emuse-tech.com

    Kind Regards
