No, this is happening because the path to ildj is wrong. The option you g=
ive
to --with-idl-java has to be the full path to ildj unless idlj is in your=

path. In that case, you can just do --with-idl-java=3Didlj. It looks to m=
e
like what you want to use is --with-idl-java=3D/usr/lib/java/bin/idlj.
