Category: None Group: None Status: Open Priority: 5 Submitted By: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: Initial Burst of Sound Initial Comment: When you're using the plugin, the first piece of the song will not be normalized--it's as if the plugin takes a few seconds to "figure out" the level of the song. This is pretty annoying--isn't there a way to scan the file /before/ it begins playing, to check what level it should be normalized to? Thanks. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: Baruch Even (baruch) Date: 2005-06-28 18:05 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=8566 The data is received from the xmms player in real-time, just before it plays a chunk so we can't ask for the information in advance. We can however smooth the change so we don't jump between adjustments and the normalization wouldn't be too noticeable. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=361088&aid=849993&group_id=11088 |
