To all users who may be experiencing sudden volume jumps, this might help: I fiddled around in the configuration window and got to these settings.
Target power level - 0.13; Silence level - 0.00; Maximum multiplier - 2.00;
If you're having trouble with the sound output, try these out. (This is for version 0.3.5)
in 0.8.1 sudden level jump still exists with these settings. i'm using it with crossfade ver 0.3.4.
