Since Ive got a Swedish keyboard Ive ran into some
troubles. Some of my characters doesnt work inside the X-
system, the keys are [ ] @ (and some more that I doesnt
use normally).
I was just playing with the "Key Caps" application.
Is it true that all the characters that are giving you trouble are
characters that you enter by pressing the Option key ?
For example, according to "Key Caps", an @ is generated by
pressing Option-2 on the Swedish keyboard.
If I am correct in assuming that all the troublesome characters are
"Option" characters, I was wondering how other VNC Viewer's
solve this problem. You see, if someone presses Option-1, for
example, they may be trying to insert a special character (as in
your case) or they may be trying to send "Alt-1" to the server.
I am not sure how best to solve the problem. Suggestions are
welcome :-)

Its true that most of my trouble characters are normally typed
with the option-key, for example:
Option-2 @
Option-7 |
Option-8 [
Option-9 ]
But, there is one more character, ^, which I cant type in the VNC-
viewer.
Some other facts that may be interesting:
-In the Terminal.app the Swedish letters doesnt work,
neither do they when Im using VNC-viewer and is connected
to my own computer. BUT, when I make a remote-connection to
my university (which runs SUN UNIX) the letters start to work!
-And when Im just connected to my own computer, when I press
down for example Option-8 ( [ ), nothing happens, but when Im
connected to the university, the key-combination makes an ,
(comma).
-The command-key and option-key seems to do the same thing
both with working with my own computer and when Im connected
remotely.
-Ive tried Xtools from Tenon and my keyboard doesnt work
correctly with that program either.
-When Im using MacSSH for OS9 everything works great... (But
that program is just a SSH-client, without possibilities to run x-
programs).
