You don't have to rename it to .pyw, I did it simply because that prevents a DOS prompt window from opening. If .py used to be working, you can stick with it. hello, i have a simple question dealing with vnc2swf. once i change vnc2swf.py to vnc2swf.pyw and double click it, the VNC recorder dialouge box will not open. is this a problem with python not being able to read the file? what can i do to correct this? please help. thanks a lot. --------------------------------- Do you Yahoo!? It will depend on many things, like framerate, output type, w/ audio, amount of screen changes and updates...
What usually limits the length is a Flash limit for the object id number.
I would recommend choosing to record as vnc type and transforming it into "video" type with edit.py. This way you can test it with different framerates or even break it into shorter movies if necessary.
This way you can even try to transform into "shape" type, if you wish to compare the results.

This means that the vnc2swf executable is not on the path. The page you mentioned doesn't explain how to build and install in detail, I can only presume that something went wrong here. If you need help you will need to provide more details about exactly the commands you ran to download and install it. I would recommend rather using pyvnc2swf as it is more functional as well - see the vnc2swf home page David |

Hi, i'm runnning vnc server on pocket pc. from winxp i can connect with ultravnc or tightvnc client. but running vnc2swf.py give following errror. i also tried with 1 frame/s, but same result, i guess it can be due to some timouts as it is a slow devis, any comment appreciated. Hi.. I am sitting in front of a MacBook Pro and wanted to run. Pyvnc2swf-0.8.2 i have installed newest Pygame and Python from the linked site. But i am getting the error mentioned above. Any help would be good.
