#182 Error in TightVNC Viewe: Connection parameters (host, port, socket, gates) is empty

Hello. I have looked elsewhere for a solution to this problem but I saw unasnwered forums from 8 years ago with the same issue. I'm hoping there is some solution now.

I have a dozen machiens runnign the same version of TightVNC Viewer fine, but one newer machine on a 64-Bit Win-10 install is giving me a issue with TightVNC Viewer. Every time I try to run a .vnc shortcut it spits out an error at me saying "Error in TightVNC Viewe: Connection parameters (host, port, socket, gates) is empty". I can connect fine with the viewer app, so for now I just added a desktop shortcvut with the viewer, but I would like to get to the bottom of this.
