TightVNC 2.8.8 Installer issue - password not set (and unknown)

At tightvnc-2.8.8-gpl-setup-64bit.msi there is an issue - when you install VNC server to clean PC, you still have 3 radio buttons at Set Passwords step:

*         Do not change

*         Do not use password protection (DANGEROUS!)

*         Require password-based authentication (make sure this box is always checked!)

And (even on clean PC), you can choose 1st option- Do not change.
If you didn't check immediately connection availability - you can drive away and do not have control to that PC after installation.
There is a tick at GUI options but password is not set. Also at Registry there is no Password key, so you asked for password but you cannot connect to PC.
If you untick "Require VNC authentication", then tick again, it will ask to set up password - so that mechanics is not broken.

Previous (2.0 for example) version have different behavior - first you install, then setup password.
It have direct installation way, that required to set up password or disable it.
At my opinion that's better - if you setup password (twice, if count confirmation) - you know it. And if you use any "don't change", you cannot be sure that you know password.

That's better to remove 1st option and simply ask password
OR
check at installation step that you have PASSWORD registry key.
