It think that NAT Passthrough in TightVNC (when connecting to a PC in the WAN) must be implemented because:

1) Port forwarding is a technical issue that not every user knows how to do. It's not as simple as some of us think it is.

2) Port forwarding makes the computer vulnerable to hacker attacks since they can see that the machine is plugged into the WAN via Port Scanning tools. With that they can direct their attacks to this computer, stealing information and controlling of the PC.

3)NAT Passthrough would make TightVNC a better suitable option for the users that use any Remote Desktop tool that is not OpenSource (like Teamviewer or LogMeIn) since it would make the configuration of ThightVNC Server easier to the users.

Please take this suggest into account as TightVNC is a good Remote Desktop tool, but the lack of NAT Passthrough makes me continue with TeamViewer and LogMeIn beacuse of the security of my Networks.

Thanks for your attention,
