#807 Bug during scrolling 1.3.9

I have found that tightvnc 1.3.9 viewer seems to have a bug in the scrolling. If the vnc viewer is obscured by a small window in the lower right corner, then scrolling down (picture moves up) causes white bands to be in the picture, coming from the place underneath the obscuring window. This happens to me with green background in the application that is running inside the tightvnc window.
