Viewing a scaled Win2k desktop with the Java Viewer on Linux, the native (linux) and remote (windows) mouse pointers move further apart the farther from the origin (upper left) the mouse moves. How fast the mouse pointers diverge depends on the scale factor: using a parameter "Scaling factor" 50 (half-size desktop) and moving the local mouse pointer to the center of the display, causes the remote mouse pointer to be rendered at the lower right of the screen; with a "Scaling factor" 90 (90% of original size display) the remote mouse pointer is rendered about 10% further right and down. Both X and Y coordinates diverge to the right/down at the same scale factor rate.

Note: The actual mouse position on the remote machine is that of the _local_ mouse pointer; the issue is the incorrect (and confusing) local rendering of the remote pointer.
