#1626 black screen on connect to windows 10 desktop with teamed nic

i have 3 devices - desktop and 2 laptops

the desktop uses microsoft network adapter multiplexer driver to team two nics
the laptops connect wireless over WiFi5/6

using vnc 2.8.81, I can connect from windows 10 desktop to windows 10 laptop, and to windows 11 laptop
i can connect from windows 11 laptop to windows 10 laptop and vice versa

BUT

i get a black screen when i connect from both windows 11 laptop and windows 10 laptop to windows 10 desktop using the desktop dns name

I can connect form laptops to the desktop screen if i look up which of the 2 nics the desktop registered in dns (nslookup) and use the ip address, not the dns name

can you fix this?
