I'm having the same issue with an Allen-Bradley PanelView Plus 6 terminal supposedly running TightVNC server on Win CE. RealVNC Client for iOS and TightVNC Client on Windows 7 work fine, but with Remote Ripple for iOS I get just a black screen with the mouse cursor visible. Remote Ripple for Android works fine with that server.

    Gentlemen,

Please, wait for the next Remote Ripple update on the App Store.
Besides of other improvements we've fixed error messages throwing, so at least you'll receive understandable and readable error message.

Thank you for bug report and using Remote Ripple!

      Patrick,

We're trying to reproduce the problem. Please, provide us more details about connection settings you made in Remote Ripple. Screenshot with connection settings from your iOS device would be great. Partly blured maybe.
Oh, one more thing: how much displays do you have on your host computer?

      Thank you!

        Edgar,

The server is running on an Allen-Bradley 2711P PanelView Plus 6 running
on Windows CE. I made no changes to the default settings for ripple.
        Just the IP address.

I believe the PanelView is running TightVNC server, but I am not
absolutely sure. They provide it with TightVNC client, and the
documentation implies it is TightVNC server.

As far as a screen shot goes, imagine a completely black screen with the
exception of the graphics you superimpose, and the mouse cursor, which
does move the mouse cursor on the server machine.

          Patrick,

Could you specify TightVNC Server version, PanelView Plus 6 comes with?
In this case we install that Server version and try to reproduce black screen problem.

          Thank you!
