#1255 Win (7) clipboard copies only text when a TVNC viewer is open

If a TVNC Viewer is open, including minimised, the Windows clipboard copies only text. Example: If I copy formatted HTML from a browser page (in Windows host) and paste it into an HTML editor (in same Windows host), only the text content is pasted - the formatting and graphical information has been lost.
It is the copy operation that is affected: In the above example, if I copy the HTML with TVNC viewer open, but close TVNCV before pasting into the HTML editor, again only the text is pasted; if I close TVNCV before either copying or pasting, the HTML is pasted correctly.

More info:

• TVNC Server is running on the host (no viewers attached)(relevance not tested)
• TVNC Viewer host: Win 7 x64 Pro SP1, updates current (June 2013). Other versions of Windows may also be affected.
• TVNC server hosts: Win7, WinXP-x64; servers under other versions of Win and other OSs not tested.
• TVNC version: 2.7.3, but earlier versions were also affected.
• This bug is REALLY annoying! (another example: when arranging browser bookmarks, only the link URL text is copied and all other fields are lost).
• The cause of my Windows clipboard problem was a b**** to find!

Forgot to add, for the TVNC developers: TYVM (thank you very much) for TVNC :)
Looking forward to a fix.

Suggested added feature: Limit the rate of failed attempts to log in to TVNC server, eg if more than 3 (tunable) attempts in 3 (tunable) min, do not respond on the IP port for 60 (tunable) min. I've so far only used TNVC on my LAN, but would like to log in remotely via the internet. When I used Win Remote Desktop for this, leaving port 3389 open attracted bots that made continual login attempts.

This problem is happening to me too!! Is there a way to fix it?
The program is good but this problem made me change my mind.

Your email is the only thing I've heard about my report of this bug in TVNC.

The only way I've found to fix it is to run TeamViewer instead. ( http://www.teamviewer.com/en/index.aspx , great program, free for personal use but nags )

I keep TVNC around for upgrading TeamViewer: I download an upgraded version once then run the new installer from TVNC on each of the machines on my LAN.
(Auto-updating TV would do multiple downloads)

Fred B, we'll fix the bug in the next release. It is server side issue actually. With current server version it can be overridden by copying same clipboard twice.

This is still an issue. When I have a session open I must copy twice when in Excel. Was there a fix made?

I can confirm that Copying items twice works, it is just a pain when I make lots of copy/paste inputs in Excel.
