[vmtk-users] How to keep the model open at the endings?

Hi,

I'm a master student working on Chiari Malformation and using VMTK to
create a model of the spinal cord. My model consists of two tubes (one
inside another) and when I generate a mesh from the 3D surface, a cape is
added at each ending so that the model becomes closed. Do you have any
suggestions on how can I avoid that and keep my model open?
