Dear members, I'm just installing the vmtk library on my windows xp. For this I use the svn repositories for vmtk, vtk and itk and the install instructions on the vmtk website. After execution all of the install steps, I extend the PATH environment variable and create the PYTHONPATH variable according the instructions. Renaming is not necessary anymore because these steps are already done in the repository. No errors occurs during compilation and all files are found in the folder. However, a problem occurs when I call vmtk-exe.py from a command prompt. I get the followed output: Traceback (most recent call last): File "D:\VTK\VMTK\vmtk-bin\bin\vmt from vmtk import pypes File "D:\VTK\VMTK\vmtk-bin\lib\vmt import vtkvmtk ImportError: No module named vtkvmtk I didn't found vtkvmtk in my vmtk folder, too. Maybe I have set my PATH or PYTHONPATH variable with wrong values. Here are the entries: PATH: (only an excerpt) D:\VTK\VMTK\vmtk-bin\bin PYTHONPATH: D:\VTK\VMTK\vmtk-bin\lib\vmtk The folder "D:\VTK\VMTK\vmtk-bin" is my CMAKE_INSTALL_PREFIX flag in cmake. I use cmake 2.6 and python 2.6.1 Is it possible that the installation is only successful with python 2.5? I would be grateful for any help. Thanks in advanced, Rocco Gasteiger -- Dipl.-Ing.
