Launchpad freezes with ALL Framebuffer-only drivers in VMware VM, including IONDRVSupport and VMwareGfx. This isn't specific to VMsvga2 - something with the way Launchpad uses the display when no accelerator is available. Outside a VM, with no accelerator, it's also clunky, but doesn't freeze.

This is fixed in OS 10.9.x.
