During testing we have found that V-MAP will not work
with Java Runtime SE 1.4.2_02, but will work with 1.5.0
The error received with the earlier version is:
java.io.IOException: Unable to create temp. file for:

====================
Upgrading the PC to have Java Runtime 1.5.0 fixed it.
I don't know what the earliest version is that V-MAP
will run with...do you guys know?
This is an issue for institutional rollouts, where PCs
may always be a couple of versions behind in things
like Java.

It's being developed in 1.4. The problem described above
looks like a problem with JAWS. Can you try and run the jar
directly ?
