Dear prof Bruce Sherwood:

The latest VPython, VPython4 beta16, has been integrated into our 
LiveTeXmacs, based on Knoppix-5.1.0. There are many exclude features on 
LiveTeXmacs:

1. VPython is compliled from source directly on it. In other words, 
updating VPython is very easy since it owns all the necessary 
development files and dependent libraries;

2. Python-2.5.1 and Python modules, SciPy, VTK, Mayavi2, SimPy,
ScientificPython, SimPy, pygame, Pmw/BLT, numpy, wxPython, PyGeo and 
Twisted added too. Almost tested and work except pyGeo.

3. Other CAS added, for instances: SAGE, maxima, octave, R, Axiom, Pari 
and yacas etc.

The image file, LiveTeXmacs-1.0.6.11.iso, (a little big, about 1.6G) can 
be burned in DVD format or installed on a 2G USB-stick (just as I do).
