VisualMUD.NET was designed with modifiability in mind. It is quite easy to modify it to fit most Diku-derivative MUDs (and perhaps others).
I will personally release a version of VM designed for a bunch of popular codebases. I accept and will consider requests for special versions of VM. Anyone is free to modify VM to fit their own MUD. If you are interested in doing this yourself, contact me or ask on the help forums, and I will guide you through the process of modifying VM. Or you can figure it out for yourself.
I only ask that people leave the source files that begin with base_ alone, and any updates and changes desired in these files should be left to me. The purpose of this conduct is to ensure every version of VM can be updated easily.
