I just successfully installed the plugin in my joomla 1.7 site and enabled it for categories in the back end but I cannot see anything in the front end. Is there something I'm not doing?

Have you set the permissions for the MobiRate component? Go to the options for the MobiRate component in the Joomla backend. Choose permissions and set the action create for user group public to allow
